Gloggies 2025 nominations

Frankly, if we were all stranded on a desert island, we'd be eating each other alive before the boat even left the shore. Unrelated to any brutal power struggles, nominations too I guess 

Best Dungeon Post- Castle Delusion by Louis Garamondia. A perfect summation of his work: horrifying, brutal, and aesthetically immaculate. A classic dungeon: the trap-laden funhouse of a sicko fuck wizard. It's Conan in a giallo film.

Best Class Post- The Cōs by the inimitable albeit soggy Locheil Nothic's Eye. The goodness of it is self-evident, as befits a Paladin. I like the implied setting of the item list, and the abilities are nice and straightforward.

Best Monster Post- The Dwarrowyrm, another work of the decadent sicko Louis du Garamond, came to mind immediately. I usually find the idea of a monster as a moral allegory or as a sign the natural order has gone wrong to be cheesy Captain Planet bullshit, but this one is great. I do so love a horrible tragedy.

Best Rules Post- Although he owes me multiple thousands of dollars, Deus ex Parabola makes a fine post about Guns. I guess this could also be a theory post, but most of the text is dedicated to firearms rules anyways.

Best Lore Post- I'm obliged to self-promote, just a little. Morning Stars is and will be my great work, the dream of the history of a world which does not exist. It is the sum total of everything I have ever loved, every vast mental image or idle thought of "what if", and every painting I ever appreciated. If I am crushed by a bulldozer or cut into tiny bits by the Corsican Mob for my debts, chisel a link to this post on my grave.

Best Theory Post- No such thing. It's like asking for boiling ice: self-negating. But I liked Archon's reflections on his Domain Game. Disco inferno, brother.

Best Other Post- I don't know... that's hard... I don't really want to... but it's Unto the Cruel. NO KNOWN WEAKNESSES! STREET LETHAL, RING DEADLY! Bit of everything, here. Break out Google maps and you can do a whole lot with that.

  Remember  the Cloak-and-Sword bandwagon ? The one with the single-template classes and Esprit mechanic? I really don't. I was pretty deep into an addiction to nasal decongestant sprays at the time and may have sold a few blogposts to fund my habit. Sorry.
